Hey all! So I'm sorry about the lack of posts. We've been B-U-S-Y. My relatives just came down from Kangarooland so my family had the honour of bringing them around Sunny Singapore, showing them what's good around here. Also, Faith and I have been hitting the gym pretty often since we want to look good when we go to Thailand in January next year. Oh. Plus I have decided not to go to school next year. I'm gonna work till I know for sure what I want to do with my life. So until then, we decided to start the business next year later in January. We'll have vintage/vintage-inspired dresses, hair accessories and more. Be sure to check out our instagram page for more information since that's the place where you'll see the items. :D

Jayne Mansfield. Looks a hell lot like Marilyn don't you think? Platinum blonde hair, unrealistic beauty and a body that could stop traffic. Jayne is definitely one of my favourite actresses from that era. I especially loved her in "The Girl Can't Help It". Here are some pictures of the ever beautiful Jayne Mansfield.

So this week I have been listening to a hell lot of songs by The Drifters. My favourite one by far has got to be 'Fools fall in love'. I mean I heard Elvis's version, actually to be honest I'm not quite sure who sang the song first but I prefer The Drifter's version. Elvis's rendition is a little too "Rock n' Roll" for my liking. Well for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll include a video for you below.

This week we have chosen the lady with killer legs. Miss Betty Grable. I mean have you seen those things? They're absolutely stunning. Plus she has the face and body to match. Well to summarise...Betty Grable = Pure perfection. Hmmm...Anyway here are a few photos of Betty Grable and yes, of course I'd include the iconic poster of her in her bathing suit.

It has been raining nonstop these past few days and its really starting to put a damper on my mood. I'm just stuck at home all day long. I've watched 'Singing in the Rain' like 5 times already and I don't know what else to do so I decided to switch on my laptop and blog about what a terrible day I'm having. Seriously. Being stuck at home has got to be one of the worst things ever. I can't even go out to do a little window shopping since Christmas is around the corner. Hmm. Talking about Christmas, I've got only one thing on my Christmas List this year and that has got to be this liquid to matte lipstick by Lime Crime. I follow this beautiful pin-up doll on Instagram and Blogger and she goes by the name of Vanessa Frankenstein and she did a review on her favourite lipstick and one of it was Lime Crime's Velvetine in Red Velvet. Hopefully my family can get their hands on a couple of those because apparently they're hard to get...

Well I guess I failed miserably trying to do a blog post everyday. So to make up for it, I am going to bombard our blog with posts, pictures and possibly videos? We'll see about the video part. So anyway I thought I'd just fill you guys in on why we have been away for quite some time. Well for starters, Faith and I are both trying to find a job so that we'd have enough money to pay for school next year and a mini shopping trip to Bangkok in January. On a entirely different note, a couple of days back I got to catch One Republic live in Singapore. They were just...fantastic. They're all much better looking in reality than on TV. So yeah. That's pretty much what we've been up to these past few weeks. 

Hey all! We've decided to start this segment of our favourite pin-up model, actress or whatever, from the past. So the special lady that we have chosen to be "Pin-up Doll of the week" is the lovely red head Lucille Ball. Star of her own show, 'I love Lucy' has won the hearts of many people, including mine. She's beautiful and insanely talented and she never fails to put a smile on my face. Here's a few of my favourite photos of her.

What do you do when it's been raining on and off these couple of days and you have no plans? You sit back with a cup of hot tea and watch 'Singin' In The Rain' of course! Gosh. 'Singin' In The Rain' has got to be my favourite musical of all time. Well...maybe next to 'Grease'. I mean Gene Kelly looks exceptionally dapper in this movie. The scene below is my favourite. Jazz. *sigh* Isn't jazz music just heavenly? I don't know about you, but jazz is my favourite genre of music so I thought it'd be nice to list a few of my favourite Jazz singers from the 40's to the 60's.
