Pin-up Doll of the week: Lucille Ball

Hey all! We've decided to start this segment of our favourite pin-up model, actress or whatever, from the past. So the special lady that we have chosen to be "Pin-up Doll of the week" is the lovely red head Lucille Ball. Star of her own show, 'I love Lucy' has won the hearts of many people, including mine. She's beautiful and insanely talented and she never fails to put a smile on my face. Here's a few of my favourite photos of her.

Heyyyy, Faith here! I'm going to show you pictures of how I dressed before and after I got into the vintage style. It's going to be pretty entertaining to see some of my hideous pictures.

Yes, I was a plain, boring and nerdy person. At that time, I didn't even know how to do my own make up.

Getting closer to the vintage style, but still not quite.

Done laughing yet? Hahah. This picture is probably killing your eyeballs. I thought my dress, hair and make up was really nice then. I don't even know what I was thinking at that time. Having Betty bangs was the worst decision I have ever made in my life. Maybe I'm exaggerating. But look at it again! Okay, maybe not. It's going to give you an eyesore. Hahaha

Just singing...Singing in the rain...

What do you do when it's been raining on and off these couple of days and you have no plans? You sit back with a cup of hot tea and watch 'Singin' In The Rain' of course! Gosh. 'Singin' In The Rain' has got to be my favourite musical of all time. Well...maybe next to 'Grease'. I mean Gene Kelly looks exceptionally dapper in this movie. The scene below is my favourite. Enjoy!

There's a first for everything...

This is it. We're officially blog owners. My, isn't this exciting? Haha. So for our first ever blog post we decided to do a little introduction and to share the reason for creating this blog. So with my cup of Earl Grey tea and my fuzzy slippers on, I shall begin.

We are two girls who absolutely love anything that's vintage. No joke. We dress like we're from the past. Some people have actually told us that we dress like their grandmas used to. Not sure if that's meant to be a compliment but who cares? I'll take it. We do have dreams of having our own blogshop which we will start around this time next year (Hopefully) but for now, we'll just stick to blogging. We'll be blogging about anything under the sun. I'm hoping to post something on this blog at least once a day but I know when I start school next year, it's going to be hard to do so but I'll try. So to end this blog entry I am going to post a photo of the two of us. Haha. Goodnight!
